How waterproof is MINI?Updated a year ago

The MINI has IP33 protection from splashed water and solid objects greater than 2.5mm in diameter. This means it will be fine in light rain and possibly even heavy rain provided that the water doesn’t get into the internal parts (through the lens). If it is raining, we recommend that the front is tilted down slightly so that water can’t get inside. Water damage isn’t covered by our warranty so try and avoid letting kids use it as a submarine in puddles!
